Lite Bites 2017/18
What is our purpose in life?
12.10.17 @ The Montpelier Pub - from 8 PM
A night of short film, animation and documentary exploring unique and unknown stories that examine the purpose, meanings and motivations behind what we do in life.
What is Lite Bites?
Combining the best short form film, documentary and animation from around the World the new DOC: Supper – Lite Bites programme promises to be a tasty little morsel for you to sink your teeth into.
The Montpellier Pub in Peckham is the venue and DOC: Supper are your hosts; offering up a fresh serving of regular short film events. Each event will open with a 30 minute drinks reception where guests get an opportunity to grab a drink, take advantage of the 10% discount food offer and network with other creatives. Each programme will screen 6-8 films curated around a loosely unifying theme, with a short interval in the middle. Directors and featured guests will be invited to introduce their films and then open up the discussion about the wider issues that arise through a Q&A session with the audience at the end of each event.
DOC: Supper aims to make the Montpellier Pub the home of the short form in South East London. Where film-makers, storytellers and communities can come together to inspire social change and greater empathy.
